Genpact inviting applications for the role of Software Consultant – DevOps Engineer.

Job Designation: Software Consultant – DevOps Engineer

Qualification: BE/ B Tech/ MCA/MBA

Experience: Freshers/Experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Expertise in DevOps, Public Clouds, and Automation.
  2. Sound knowledge of Linux and Windows OS Administration.
  3. Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts.
  4.  Should be familiar with working with API & basic knowledge of DB. 
  5. Should be good with Middleware Technologies such as JBoss, Tomcat, Apache, and Weblogic.
  6. Must have hands-on with tools widely used in DevOps. The following are preferred – GIT, Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, AZ Repo, AZ-Pipeline/Release. 
  7. Sound knowledge of DevOps lifecycle mgmt – Package / Build / Release /configuration mgmt.
  8. Should be good at automation skills using Shell scripting, PowerShell, Ruby, HCL, Python, Packer, JSON, YAML, ARM Templates, DSC, AWS-CLI, AZ-CLI, etc.
  9.   Must have hands-on with tools widely used in DevOps. The following are preferred – GIT, Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, AZ Repo, AZ-Pipeline/Release. 

Job Description :

    In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement and development services in a Java/Database environment. You would be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

  1.  Creating Jenkins pipeline for build & release for both AWS and AZURE platforms. 
  2. Should possess the knowledge to grasp the existing setup/tools, find scope for improvement, create & plan and execute them.
  3. Must be able to understand the requirements and ability to work on requirements independently with minimum support.
  4. Exposure to sprint style model of project execution and should be an active team player, ready to work in shifts if needed.
